(Official communication to the public)

We’ve seen that the Bible lets us know the truth about ourselves and sugar-coats nothing. The nature of the human race is one that is corrupt and does not seek after God.  Our desire is to seek the elevation of ourselves.  With that said, how did we get this way? Where did evil come from?

If you listen to secular scientists and liberal theologians, not much difference, you are told that evil, sickness, death and suffering has always been here, its part-and-partial of evolution.  So we aren’t responsible for the way we are or our actions.

That also means Genesis 1-3 is not true because it contradicts every tenant of humanistic evolution.  To view Genesis as a metaphor or anything less than truth is to undermine and destroy the entire Bible and the gospel of salvation just hangs there with no supporting foundation. That means Jesus’ death was wasted, meaningless and does nothing for us today.

Not so, Jesus knows full well the condition of our heart and the ultimate destiny of everyone who chooses not to follow him. Rev. 20:15 Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.  Luke 12:4-5 “I tell you, my friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body and after that can do no more. 5 But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear him who, after your body has been killed, has authority to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him.  Even demons believe in Jesus and shutter because they rejected their God given place and followed Satan knowing their place will be in the lake of fire, the second death.

Being a follower of Jesus is not for the proud and arrogant, not just for women and children, it is for those who are strong enough to stand for truth; real men and real women of all ages. Anyone can follow their sin nature which says, get all you can now for yourself and do your best to work your way to heaven. Not everyone can stand up to such lies.  One day this earth and all its corruption will be destroyed and only those who have received Jesus Christ will avoid the second death of eternal separation from God.  Where will you spend eternity?

How can Jesus’ death and resurrection save us and can we know for certain we will go to heaven when we die?
