JASON
GEORGE
Derrick
Williams
Derrick's
daring solo climbs are fueled by a deep anger toward the father he
never knew. Not even a "good woman" like Cheryl can break
his obsession to prove himself. Through an unwanted climbing partner,
Derrick begins to question why he takes everything -and everyone-to
the edge.
Jason, a vibrant actor with an infectious smile, is a popular
soap opera star known for work on Sunset Beach and Titans.
On the silver screen, Jason has appeared in Fallen and in Clockstoppers.
His TV guest appearances include HBO's Arli$$.

DABNEY COLEMAN
Mack
"Mackie" Leonard
Mack Leonard, owner of Mackie's Superstores, tackles life with a firm
handshake and a solid reputation. Two hot-shot climbers just saved
his son's life so he's more than happy to finance the heroes' dream
climb. Not a bad PR move either.
Dabney, a beloved character actor, boasts many notable movie
roles-nearly 100-including Stuart Little, Inspector Gadget,
You've Got Mail, Tootsie, 9 to 5 and On Golden
Pond. His extensive TV appearances range from The Mary Tyler
Moore Show to The Magic School Bus.

KYLI SANTIAGO
Cheryl
Martin
Derrick's girlfriend, Cheryl, just wants to make the best of the good
life God and her father have provided. She's had to compromise a few
beliefs, to keep Derrick happy. Cheryl has molded a situational value
system that sidesteps the very peace that she seeks.
Kyli not only provides a fresh face to The Climb, but
she also delivers a performance that shines beyond her experience.
You may have seen Kyli in Sister 2 Sister, and judging from her talent
and bubbly personality, you'll be seeing a lot more of her in the
future. |

NED
VAUGHN
Michael
Harris
Michael is all that Derrick is not ... humble, calm, cautious, peaceful.
But he battles secret pain. And now, just when there's a chance to
climb the mountain of his dreams, Michael gets teamed up with an arrogant
soul who has no regard for human life. Makes it tough to work in harmony!
Ned exudes a focused professionalism on set. He has acted in
several features like Courage Under Fire, Apollo 13
and Hunt for Red October. Ned's television credits include
the movies The Beach Boys, Death on Everest and the
fan-favorite series China Beach.

CLIFTON DAVIS
Joseph
Martin
Cheryl's father senses good reason to keep an eye on his daughter's
smooth-talking boyfriend. Far from being an intolerant religious fanatic,
Mr. Martin shows remarkable maturity and compassion when Derrick and
Cheryl start to tear down his prayerful value system.
Clifton provides a steadying force to the cast. Amidst ministry
work, he has co-starred in popular films such as Kingdom Come and
Any Given Sunday. On television, Clifton made his mark with That's
My Mama, Amen! and various guest appearances including
Grace Under Fire.

TODD BRIDGES
Eddie
Eddie's one of the few people who dare to give his buddy Derrick a
hard time, but it's all in good fun. He's the kind Of guy Who half-heartedly
challenges his friend's pride as he looks for that first autograph.
Todd is best known for the hit TV show Diff'rent Strokes.
He has now added writer, producer, director and even cinematographer
to his credits. Todd broke into TV with appearances on Roots
and Fish. He now speaks to kids' groups about avoiding drugs.
