February 2024 Briefings
Lunatic, Liar, or Lord
The well-known author and atheist C.S. Lewis set out to disprove Christianity, like so many before him. Unlike many others he was willing to do his homework with diligence and determination only to discover that there truly is a God – the God of the bible and gave his life to Jesus Christ. As a result, Lewis became a rabid defender of the Christian faith.

Second Sunday after Epiphany
“Wise men talk because they have something to say; Fools, because they have to say something.” -Plato
Self-Image

On the other hand, the choices made and lifestyle chosen can lead to a worthless or wasted life, but that does not mean you or someone is worthless.
Baptism Of Our Lord
“Anyone who stops learning is old, whether at 20 or 80. Anyone who keeps learning stays young. The greatest thing in life is to keep your mind young.” – Henry Ford
New or Improved
I was wondering what to write about to begin a New Year and I thought of, “What’s New for the new year?” But that’s all the further it went. As time went on my thoughts turned to a topic most people wrestle with and in turn influences what is new for the new year. I would like us to consider thinking about a new or improved self-image, or self-esteem.
