What is your preference; waiting or instant gratification? Instant or a least fast is preferred by far. We have: ‘Insta-Lube’ for fast oil changes, microwave ovens, instant potatoes and coffee, fast food restaurants, minute rice, insta gram and the list goes on.
Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. The book of Daniel begins with the announcement that “King Nebuchadnezzar came to Jerusalem to besiege it.” What a way to begin – war, death, and destruction. But why? Jerusalem was the place God’s chosen people met and worshiped Him.
